Emergency Food Program
Since the founding of our School in 1994, we have always reached out to the wider community, to the sick, the elderly, to the vulnerable, to impoverished families and malnourished Children. We have fed our Children in residence in our School, and fed those who are in great need outside our School. We have provided care and nourishment to the dying and to those afflicted by Tuberculosis in the TB ward in Kampot Provincial Hospital (1998–1999).
During the Covid Pandemic, we received funding from UNICEF, and provided 4,000 cooked meals to the People of Kampot. People would queue in the rain, and so we made tarpaulin shelters.
We have provided over 3,000 (and continue to provide) Emergency Food Packages to malnourished families in both rural and urban Kampot, with support in school books, school bags and uniforms for severely impoverished Children. We have provided medical relief and building repairs to those dying of cancer and living in extreme poverty. We have given food and medical support for the elderly and those with disabilities afflicted by severe poverty. There are those of us, who have helped nurse the dying and sick in hospital, because they had nobody.
