Our School has received Grants from Unicef for our Emergency Temporary Shelter and Childsafe Programs, as well as Emergency Grants to provide Food, Cooking Utensils, Support with Rent and Utility Bills, as well as Assessment and Counselling to 45 very impoverished and vulnerable families and their Children, who are facing destitution, because of the Covid19 pandemic. A further 130 Families will be assisted this year, with a new Grant coming in from Unicef.

Additionally, our School received Grants from the Dak Foundation to provide Food, Cooking Utensils and Support to another 30 very poor families in Kampot Town.

The Child Safe Alliance has also kindly provided Funds to our School for our Soup Kitchen. Every day at lunchtime, we provide over 80 nourishing hot cooked meals, water and hygiene materials to All those in Kampot who are facing Hunger or even starvation, due to the prolonged Coivd-19 shut-down.

In this photograph last month, we were taken by surprise by the sheer numbers of People needing a meal. It began raining and many people queued in the rain for Food. Since then we have purchased tarpaulin to shelter people from the rain.

We would like to thank Unicef, the Dak Foundaiton and Child Safe Alliance (CSA) for their most generous and rapid help and to our Partner NGO, Friends International  and everyone in their Team who have been so wonderful and supportive at facilitating these Grants and helping us with the Application and Reporting Process.
